The University of Colorado Boulder Ombuds Office

The CU Boulder Ombuds Office provides a confidential, informal, independent and impartial resource for students, staff and faculty to discuss concerns, address conflicts, and explore options for handling various issues.

The only problem: much of the campus community didn’t realize it.

CU Boulder turned to Westfourth Communications to produce a short, accessible video that positions the Ombuds Office as a valuable resource for individuals to navigate challenge and resolve conflict within the university.

Results:

The Ombuds Office debuted the video at its 2024 Ombuds Day Celebration. Since then, the video has remained an evergreen resource in the office’s outreach toolkit, raising awareness and educating the CU community on how to access Ombuds’ services to foster a more collaborative and respectful campus environment.
